Chief von Castell is a stunning 3-4 year old German Shepherd. He is another breeder dog, already tucked away in the back of an animal shelter. He was so sad, he didn’t even want to lift his head. He has such a tender heart. Chief now realizes that only good things are ahead for him. Get ready to fall in love with our big, handsome boy. This charming fellow has mastered the art of the puppy-dog eyes, making it impossible to resist giving him all the affection he craves. He is a delight to walk; he heads out with excitement but handles beautifully on a leash, walking in a heel position and happily greeting every person he passes. He is housebroken, wants to please, and is treat-motivated (he takes them gently), currently polishing up his commands. In playgroups, he is a comfortable mingler and a polite greeter who prefers the company of calm, easygoing dogs. If needed, however, he skillfully keeps turning his body away from dogs who try to start something. (He's not for cats.) We feel so fortunate that we got an SOS for Chief, just in time. Hoping you can fill the rest of his life with love and only good things.
